the game play to this is fiendishly addictive. It's simple to get into but so hard to master some of those stages. Although I love the presentation and music, everything is bright, cheerful and unique and presentation wise it stills seem fresh. I just wish technically there was more stuff like layered scrolling for most of those levels. Plus I noticed some jittery scrolling when you pan and view some of the more larger stages.
This puzzle game is simply wonderful! You set up a pattern of moves from a select few. (You get more moves as you progress through the game.) Then, the cutest little Monkey performs those moves in order to get the the end of the short stage. (Most stages are only 1-2 screens big.) While some of the levels can be difficult to get the high score, most of the early levels can be figured out without too much difficulty. Some of the later levels can be quite difficult, but if you keep at it, you'll figure it out. I completed this game last year with my sons playing with and helping out, and it was a blast! Yes, this game is in Japanese only, but it really is not a hindrance. Also, this game is not easy to find and is not cheap. I do recommend this game to all who enjoy puzzle games. I gave this game a '10'.
