This is a very early, 1980s style shooter, and as such, it suffers from a number of problems. First, the graphics are relatively poor, upon death you are restarted from a checkpoint (instead of allowing to continue in the same place), item power ups are unclear as to what they do, and if you die at a certain point in the game, you essentially must start from the beginning again as you will otherwise have no chance to defeat later bosses. It's a very so-so shooter, lacks any unique features or interesting music, and is nowhere near as good as classics like Super Star Soldier, Blazing Lazers, etc. My score: 5/10

I have not beat this port yet,but what I have seen of it so far I really like and it makes me really glad I own it.

Its got nice details, very neat graphics for its time, solid music, and doesn't have control issues. 8 out of 10 for me.
