Honestly, if you look past the anime cinemas, this game is a rather bland Castlevania clone. It isn't bad, but I wouldn't really call it particularly good, either. There are better games of this sort on the PCE, so this shouldn't be a particularly high priority of a purchase.

Generally speaking, it´s a nice game. Tunes are really cool and cutscenes too but, for some reason, I consider the genesis gameplay better.
