I love this game. Gave both this and Gate of Thunder 10/10 ratings. Rtype is not better than Gate of Thunder, but is so magical in its own unique way. It is said the Hucard versions is better than the R-type complete CD version...
as best as it gets. the classec of the classec shmups, here in the pc engine version such close to the arcade pendant!! this game embossed me like nothing close to that (may be dracula x, street fighter II and makaimura can compete with it).
a true 10/10! at that time the over blast and killer app. on that system!!
